OUR MINISTRIES

At Azusa First we believe it is important for every believer to have the opportunity to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." As such, we offer classes and groups for every age group. In addition, we believe each member of the body should have the opportunity to serve in the area God has called them. Teaching and training are emphasized so that the body may be thoroughly equipped and effective in the ministry.

Prayer

We recognize the importance of prayer, both in the life of the individual believer and corporately in the body. We stress the absolute necessity of a personal prayer life and offer regular times of prayer for those who wish to intercede.

Missionettes

Missionettes Girls Clubs is a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Missionettes provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders.

Royal Rangers

The Royal Rangers program is an activity-based, small group church ministry for boys and young men in grades K-12.  Our mission is to evangelize, equip and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders. We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment.

Youth

We offer Sunday school and discipleship classes as well as exciting outings and events for youth to remain connected. Summer Camp is another way to be involved.

Kids

In addition to Royal Rangers and Missionettes, we offer Sunday school and discipleship for children, as well as summer camps.

Women's Ministries

Purpose: To support missions with prayer and financial contributions. To pray for all ministries of Azusa First Assembly and any needs presented to us.

Activities: Our meetings consist of creating hand-made projects to sell for raising money for the missions we support. Some projects are made for donating needy to other needy causes. Prayer is offered for special needs presented. While we are working we fellowship with each other and then go have lunch together.

Men's Ministries

A ministry where men are focused on getting to know God and creating a strong brotherhood through fellowship. MAN UP encourages and supports men as active participants in and out of church. We will honor God, love our families, and be a godly influence in our community.

Volunteers

Volunteering is a great opportunity to serve the Lord, community and connect with others! We're always looking for positive people to help in all areas of the church, from greeting to teaching, there is a place for you. Remember, it's not your ability, but your availability God is interested in!
